Peter Waiyaki is the Partner in charge of Strategy and Development. He was admitted to the Roll of Advocates of the High Court of Kenya in 1992. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi and a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. He is a Commissioner of Oaths and a Notary Public.
He began his legal practice with Hamilton Harrison & Mathews rising to the position of partner in the Commercial Department. He was also the Assistant General Counsel of Kenya Airways Ltd before becoming the Chief Executive of Central Depository & Settlement Corporation Ltd
He was named as a top commercial lawyer in Chambers Global in 1999 and 2000 and again in 2010 and 2011.
He is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya.
He heads the Corporate and Commercial Practice and the Company Secretarial Practice and the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice
